Kudos Seen as Prominent Tech Company at Startup Calgary

Calgary, AB (December 1, 2011) - Kudos® Inc. (Kudos) was selected as one of the nine showcase companies to participate in the 2nd Annual Launch Party, hosted by Startup Calgary. Startup Calgary is a non-profit organization focused on cultivating the tech startup community in Calgary, Alberta.

Startup Calgary is part of the A100, a non-profit, member-funded organization of “been there, done that” tech entrepreneurs and executives, interested and dedicated to helping Alberta’s next generation of innovative startups in becoming successful.

The Launch Party is an opportunity for tech startups to showcase their companies to the A100 community. Nine organizations are selected each year to be mentored by Calgary tech leaders and provided with training and feedback to hone their pitching skills. The top three pitches are given the opportunity to pitch to the entire community at the Launch Party.

About 350 people filled the Roderick Mah Centre at Mount Royal University for the Launch Party. The event focused on networking and creating a buzz for the nine tech startups ups.
