(Kudos) announced today at YamJam’12 that their recognition system is now integrated with leading Enterprise Social Networks and communication services: Yammer, LinkedIn, and Skype. Kudos also announced the official launch of a new feature called KQ, a simple yet powerful visual representation of a person’s character and performance.
With Yammer integration, Kudos helps enhance corporate culture and improve employee engagement by streaming messages of appreciation and recognition directly to Yammer’s Ticker. Each Kudos message highlights the colleagues sending and receiving the message, the recognition level ranging from a ‘Thank You’ to an ‘Exceptional’, key characteristics and values demonstrated, and the personal message for all to see and celebrate. The integration also utilizes Yammer Connect to seamlessly authenticate users based on their Yammer login credentials. Users can also use a Kudos browser add-on to create a continuous experience of giving Kudos, even while in Yammer.
Companies, who approve LinkedIn integration, allow users to request that their messages of recognition within Kudos be pushed up to their LinkedIn feed. Kudos messages complement LinkedIn Recommendations and Endorsements. Skype integration allows all Kudos users to link their Skype accounts to enhance communication among team members, especially those working out of different offices. Users can view their colleagues’ Skype availability icon in Kudos, and call or instant-message them through Skype from the Kudos platform.
